Evan Hill-Ries graduated from New York University School of Law in 2008, where he was an Intellectual Property Scholar, co-founder of the Information Law Society, and Associate Editor for the NYU Review of Law and Social Change. Mr. Hill-Ries represents startup and small business clients on a wide range of issues, from corporate formation and equity financings to copyright licensing and domain name litigation. He currently teaches a course on copyright and internet law issues in NYU’s Department of Media, Culture, and Communication.
Prior to joining Lewis & Lin, Mr. Hill-Ries worked on licensing and financing agreements for the City of New York’s NYC Media Group. Prior to that, he represented emerging technology companies in the Silicon Valley office of Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe.
